A plane with at least six members of Congress from New York and New Jersey was hit by another aircraft at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.
This happened on the same tarmac where a tragic mid-air crash occurred on January 29, resulting in around 67 fatalities.
Suffolk County Representative Nick LaLota verified the incident in a post on X on Thursday.
“Serving in Congress has come with some once-in-a-lifetime experiences, like just now while stationary on the runway at DCA, another plane just bumped into our wing. Heading back to the gate, but thankfully everyone is ok!” the Rep said.
