Controversial former NFL star Antonio Brown is now facing attempted murder charges following a shooting incident at a celebrity boxing event in Miami’s Little Haiti area last month.
According to a warrant obtained by The Washington Post, the 36-year-old is accused of firing two shots during a brawl involving two groups of people at the venue. The warrant, signed by a Miami-Dade County judge on Wednesday, calls for Brown’s arrest, a $10,000 bond, and house arrest pending trial.
Police reports claim surveillance footage shows Brown assaulting a man, grabbing a security guard’s gun, and allegedly firing two shots at his initial target — one bullet reportedly grazing the victim’s neck. The man, known to Brown since 2022, received treatment at a local hospital.
The altercation reportedly began as a physical confrontation before escalating to gunfire. A viral social media video from streamer Adin Ross’ event showed Brown in a scuffle and appearing to hold a pistol. Gunshots were heard off-camera shortly after.
Following the incident, Brown denied wrongdoing, stating online that he was attacked by multiple individuals trying to steal from him. He claimed police detained but later released him that night without formal arrest.
