Bryan Mbeumo is reportedly eager to join Manchester United this summer, with the Premier League giants preparing to open formal negotiations with Brentford over a potential deal.
The 25-year-old Cameroonian international enjoyed a stellar 2024–25 Premier League season, scoring 18 goals and providing 7 assists in 37 appearances.
His ability to play across the front line as a right winger, central striker, or attacking midfielder makes him a perfect fit for Ruben Amorim’s tactical vision, as United look to reshape their attacking unit ahead of the new season.
Brentford manager Thomas Frank has recently acknowledged that the club may be willing to sell Mbeumo under the right conditions.
“If the price is right—and that’s going to be expensive—then I’m sure the club will be open to it,” Frank said.
Although Mbeumo’s current contract runs until 2026, Brentford holds an option to extend it by another year, giving them a strong hand in negotiations.
Newcastle United is also reportedly monitoring Mbeumo’s situation, setting up a possible transfer battle. Still, Manchester United’s proactive approach and Mbeumo’s clear interest in the move may give the Red Devils an edge as talks advance.
With the summer transfer window heating up, fans can expect further developments in the coming weeks as United aim to land one of the Premier League’s most dynamic attackers.
