Popular media personality Ifedayo Olarinde, better known as Daddy Freeze, has officially joined The Honest Bunch Podcast as its new co-host, following the exit of Chinedu Ani Emmanuel (Nedu Wazobia).
Nedu stepped down from the show in February 2025 after a viral controversy involving comedian Deeone and social critic VeryDarkMan (VDM).
The episode led to heated public exchanges, legal warnings from VDM’s camp, and intense social media backlash against Nedu, prompting his departure for “peace of mind” and “family reasons.”
Daddy Freeze will now join existing co-hosts Husband Material, Deity Cole, and Ezinne, bringing his well-known outspoken style on social, religious, and cultural issues to the show. His addition is expected to influence the podcast’s bold and humorous discussions on millennial and Gen Z matters in Nigeria.
While the Honest Bunch team has yet to outline plans with their new host, early fan reactions suggest excitement and curiosity about the show’s future direction.
