Nigerian music video director and cinematographer, Praise Onyeagwalam, popularly known as Director Pink, has revealed a personal preference that has caught the attention of her fans online.
Taking to her X (formerly Twitter) handle, the 25-year-old award-winning visual artist shared that she finds men with Igbo accents particularly attractive.
“I like men with Igbo accent. I find it s*xy,” she wrote.
The comment has sparked conversations online, with many reacting humorously and others praising her for embracing indigenous charm.
Director Pink, who originally had aspirations of becoming an actress, made a name for herself in the music video industry after switching careers in 2020. Her big break came in 2021 when she directed the critically acclaimed music video for “Running To You” by Chike featuring Simi.
Since then, she has become one of Nigeria’s most notable female directors, recognized for her vibrant visual style and storytelling ability in the Afrobeats scene.
