Popular Nigerian influencer and media personality, Enioluwa Adeoluwa, has expressed frustration and sadness after revealing that his dog was stolen from his home in Lekki, Lagos.
In a candid social media post, Enioluwa shared that the incident is just one of many troubling experiences he has recently faced while living in Lagos, sparking a broader conversation on urban stress and residential insecurity in the city.
“I don’t know if it’s adulthood or it’s just that I live in Lagos, something must happen every day,” he wrote.
“Yesterday, plumber came to check a pipe, broke the whole WC. Three people have come to check the water for water treatment yet it’s still not colourless. That’s how the other day, they stole my dog — in this same Lekki o! 😭”
The post quickly gained traction online, with many fans and fellow Lagosians expressing sympathy and solidarity, sharing similar experiences of stress and insecurity in what is considered one of Nigeria’s upscale neighborhoods.
Though Enioluwa did not disclose further details about the circumstances surrounding the theft, the incident has reignited conversations about the state of security in residential estates across Lagos, particularly in areas like Lekki that are presumed to be well-guarded.
Enioluwa, who is known for his upbeat content and strong presence in Nigeria’s fashion and lifestyle scene, rarely shares such emotional posts, making the moment even more impactful for his followers.
As of now, no update has been given on efforts to locate the missing pet or identify those responsible for the theft.
