Fati Vázquez Breaks Silence on Lamine Yamal Rumors, Denies Financial or Legal Misconduct

Madrid, Spain – Digital content creator Fati Vázquez has issued a formal statement via Instagram to address growing speculation and online criticism regarding her alleged relationship with rising football star Lamine Yamal.

In the detailed message, Vázquez sought to correct “misinformation” and “biased commentary” spreading across social and traditional media platforms.

“At no point was it my intention to make this experience public,” she began, clarifying that her social media posts, made days after meeting Yamal, were personal and not designed to generate public attention or controversy.

She strongly denied any financial motive behind the media storm, emphasizing her long-standing career in digital media:

“I have worked in social media for over 10 years… My career is solid, professional, and self-made.”

Responding to legal concerns surrounding her interaction with the underage footballer, she stated:

“Legally, in Spain, no crime has been committed, and nothing that happened constitutes pedophilia or is subject to criminal reproach.”

Vázquez also criticized how she has been portrayed in the media, rejecting the label “30-year-old Galician influencer”, noting that she is not yet 30 and deserves to be recognized for her professional merits.

She further clarified that the initiative to meet originated from Yamal himself and that mutual public visibility played a role in their interaction:

“If I didn’t have the trajectory and visibility I do, he probably wouldn’t have been interested in me either.”

Addressing headlines that implied she had lied, Vázquez insisted her comments were in self-defense, not aimed at anyone in particular.

“This statement is not meant to confront, but to close a chapter with honesty,” she concluded.
