Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has opened up about the hardships he faced growing up, revealing that he did menial jobs to survive.
In a candid conversation with media personality Daddy Freeze, Osimhen shared how his childhood in a crowded neighborhood forced him to hustle at an early age.
The football star recalled:
“There was a building in front of my house, this kind face-me-I-face-you, up of the building there, I used to fetch water for the people there for N80, and most of the time, I would wash gutter when the green things are coming out…”
He revealed that in some cases, he was paid as little as N30 to clean Spirogyra-filled gutters.
