Afrobeats star John Njenga-Njeng, popularly known as Skales, has revealed that he has not seen his daughter in a while and deeply misses her.
The singer, who welcomed a baby girl with his wife Precious Hassanity in March 2023, made the emotional disclosure in a post shared via his X (formerly Twitter) handle.
“I miss my daughter so much… I haven’t seen her in a while… she’s growing up too fast,” he wrote.
His statement comes amidst ongoing speculation surrounding the state of his marriage. Skales had previously sparked rumours of a rift with his wife, accusing her of mocking his music career on social media.
However, in May 2025, the “Shake Body” crooner publicly denied the rumours of a divorce, insisting that the couple had not separated despite the challenges.
The singer’s recent post has drawn sympathy from fans, with many urging him to remain strong and hopeful for a reunion with his daughter.
