President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday assured the government and people of Nasarawa State—and Nigerians at large—of his administration’s unwavering commitment to delivering on the promises of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
The president also pledged continued federal support for Nasarawa State, especially in key developmental areas such as solid minerals and agriculture.
Tinubu made the remarks during a visit to the Emir of Lafia, Justice Sidi Bage Muhammad, at his palace.
He commended Governor Abdullahi Sule, noting that his prudent use of state resources has earned the confidence of both the Federal Government and private investors.
While addressing the Emir, Tinubu expressed his joy at returning to Nasarawa State, recalling the Emir’s words during the 2023 campaigns.
“Thank you. You are a highly far-sighted individual, a committed Nigerian of high integrity and jurisprudence,” he said.
He described Nasarawa as a peaceful and steadily progressing state, attributing the positive atmosphere to the leadership of Governor Sule and the Council of Traditional Rulers.
The president reaffirmed his dedication to actualising all promises made under his Renewed Hope Agenda.
“All I have decided is to ensure a change for the future and the best,” he added.
He further emphasised that the Renewed Hope Agenda is designed to reposition the Nigerian economy, with a focus on creating opportunities for young Nigerians and securing a brighter future for the next generation.
