Former Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council spokesperson, Kenneth Okonkwo, has boldly predicted a major political upset for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 general elections.
Speaking on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics, Okonkwo disclosed that a powerful coalition involving former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, ex-Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, and other key political figures is quietly being built to challenge APC’s hold on power.
“Just know that I am part of the coalition. I can tell you about the engine room of this coalition that many people don’t know about. APC will not know what hit them come 2027,” Okonkwo confidently stated.
His comments have sparked fresh political debates about potential realignments ahead of the next presidential race.
