Kourtney Kardashian is feeling all the emotions as her daughter, Penelope Disick, reaches a major milestone—completing sixth grade.
The Kardashians star took to Instagram on June 3 to share a heartfelt moment following the academic achievement of her and Scott Disick’s 12-year-old daughter.
In her Instagram Story, Kourtney posted a photo of herself with her face buried in her hands, captioning it:
“Me crying bc my baby girl is done with sixth grade.”
She added a humorous touch by revealing that Penelope was the one snapping the photo, writing,
“She’s taking pics of me,” followed by a laughing emoji.
Kourtney Questions the Traditional School System
While the proud mom celebrated Penelope’s milestone, Kourtney recently opened up about her conflicted views on traditional education.
Speaking to Khloe Kardashian on a recent episode of her podcast, Kourtney revealed that her kids sometimes send her videos of successful people who didn’t rely on formal education, prompting her to rethink their schooling options.
“So, then I’ll start thinking, okay what’s the goal here?” she said. “Want to do homeschool? Let’s do it.”
The Poosh founder, who also shares Mason (15) and Reign (10) with Scott Disick and baby Rocky with husband Travis Barker, went on to question the entire system:
“Why do kids f–king go to school? Truly, it’s so dated.”
A Modern Mom with a Modern Mindset
Kourtney has long been recognized for her unconventional parenting style, which often prioritizes emotional well-being, flexibility, and holistic approaches to raising her children.
Her latest comments continue to spark conversations about alternative education, particularly among celebrities and influential parents.
As Penelope heads into her next academic chapter, one thing is clear—Kourtney Kardashian is both proud and reflective, embracing the bittersweet moments of motherhood in her own unique way.
