On Friday, June 20, Minaj took to X (formerly Twitter) and dropped a bombshell tweet that instantly sent the Barbz into full investigation mode:
“I wonder who offered Deb 5MM to leave the tour.”
The post came after a resurfaced interview clip began making the rounds online, in which Deb allegedly claimed she was offered a staggering $5 million to walk away from Nicki’s ongoing Pink Friday 2 tour. While the interview’s exact timeline remains unclear and the identity of the alleged offeror still a mystery, Nicki Minaj’s tweet has stirred intense speculation.
Fans are now combing through past feuds, rivalries, and industry drama in an effort to uncover who might have had the motive — and the pockets — to make such an offer.
While Nicki Minaj and Deb appear to be back on solid ground today, their relationship hasn’t always been without tension. Just a year ago, in June 2024, things got messy when Deb publicly revealed she had reached out to Lil’ Kim’s team in hopes of facilitating a reunion on the PF2 tour.
