Reality TV star and Real Housewives of Durban sensation, Nonku Williams, is baring it all like never before as she opens up about her painful journey through divorce, trauma, and healing on Showmax’s revealing series Untied.
In an emotional chat with TshisaLIVE, the outspoken entrepreneur and mother confessed that it was finally time to tell her side of the story — not the glam, drama-filled image reality TV sold, but the real Nonku who survived heartbreak and abuse behind closed doors.
“I felt it was time to share my story,” she said. “I trust God has a plan, and this moment is part of it. My message might help another woman who’s silently suffering, and that gives me peace.”
Nonku revealed that her divorce marked a life-altering turning point. It stripped her down emotionally, but built her back up stronger.
“I realised my worth doesn’t come from being married or what people think of me. My identity is in God, and that’s where I found true freedom,” she admitted.
Opening up about the trauma and abuse she endured was no easy task, but she believes her honesty could help others heal.
“Sharing my story has been both painful and healing. Speaking about those dark times is my way of finding restoration — and hopefully giving others the courage to do the same.”
Nonku said that even after years on Real Housewives of Durban, fans never truly saw this raw side of her.
“On reality TV, you see the glam, the outfits, the sass. But this is the real me. Broken at times. Healing now. And free,” she boldly declared.
The star also credited her faith for giving her the courage to go public.
“Without God and the Holy Spirit, I couldn’t have done this. He called me to share my truth — no more fear.”
As expected, fans have been applauding Nonku for her bravery, with many saying her transparency has inspired them to face their own struggles.
Through Untied, Nonku Williams proves that even after pain and betrayal, there’s light — and life — on the other side.
