Former Manchester United and Juventus star, Paul Pogba, has reportedly been offered a two-year contract by Ligue 1 side AS Monaco, according to Sky Sports News.
The French club is currently in advanced discussions with Pogba’s representatives, as they look to secure the services of the 32-year-old midfielder ahead of the summer transfer window. Monaco reportedly sees the player as one of football’s remaining global superstars and views his signing as a major coup.
Pogba, who won the FIFA World Cup with France in 2018, has been without a club since 2024 after his contract with Juventus was terminated by mutual agreement. His departure followed a high-profile suspension in 2023 after he failed a drug test during his second stint with the Italian giants.
Originally handed a four-year ban by the Italian Anti-Doping National Tribunal, the sanction was later reduced to 18 months by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), allowing Pogba to return to professional football sooner than initially feared.
Now a free agent, the French midfielder is considering Monaco’s proposal, which could mark the beginning of a new chapter in his career back in France.
