Nigerian-born businessman Simon Guobadia has returned to Instagram after a four-month absence, following his deportation from the United States by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) earlier this year.
Now residing in the United Arab Emirates, Simon posted, “My heart’s still full of love for this life – actually, even more now,” along with a new photo.
In a follow-up post on June 19, he reflected on his new surroundings but admitted to missing his previous life in the U.S.
Simon’s return comes just days after a U.S. court ruled in favor of his estranged wife, Porsha Williams, in their ongoing divorce case.
The court upheld their prenuptial agreement, rejecting Simon’s attempt to void the document. Under the terms, Porsha will receive $40,000 monthly in alimony for up to 15 months, have her legal fees paid, and retain the Rolls-Royce gifted by Simon.
Regarding their $7 million home, Porsha has until 2027 to decide whether to keep or sell it, but must buy out Simon’s share if she stays. Until then, Simon remains responsible for all property expenses.
Porsha filed for divorce in February 2024, calling their marriage “irretrievably broken,” shortly before ICE detained Simon.
