Controversial social media critic VeryDarkMan has finally spoken out after a brief disappearance that sparked public concern.
His elder brother, Mark Otse, had earlier raised alarm over his absence, urging Nigerians to remember him in their prayers during Sunday services. In a video shared on Instagram, Mark admitted that the family was troubled, stating:
“It’s so difficult to explain what is going on.”
Responding to the concerns, VeryDarkMan posted a message explaining the reason behind his silence.
“I really wish everyone could understand. I haven’t been able to post in the last few hours because my mind is still messed up. The killings involving herdsmen and farmers are too much. For the past five days, I haven’t slept properly. I’ve been asking questions and researching to understand the root of the problem.”
The critic noted that the Benue and Jos Plateau killings are not new, pointing out that these conflicts have persisted for over a decade with the same cycle of violence, government visits, and protests.
“The question isn’t when does it stop but how does it stop? What has the government been getting wrong?” he asked.
He concluded by wishing his followers a happy Sunday despite his heavy thoughts
