Dr Paul Enenche, founder and senior pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, has turned down a N30 million donation from the Kebbi State Government during a healing and deliverance crusade at Haliru Abdu Stadium, Birnin Kebbi.
A government representative announced the donation on behalf of Governor Nasir Idris, offering the sum to the event’s organising committee. But before the crowd could react, Pastor Becky Enenche, wife of the senior pastor, firmly interjected, rejecting the offer.
Taking the microphone, Pastor Enenche explained the church’s position:
“We believe government money should be used for government projects, and church money for church things, not mixed together.”
He further revealed that their massive Glory Dome in Abuja was built without a “single kobo” of government funds.
The refusal has sparked praise online, with many hailing the Enenches for maintaining financial integrity and transparency.
