President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has pledged unwavering commitment to infrastructural development across all regions of Nigeria, assuring that every Nigerian will eventually feel the impact of good governance under his administration.
The President made this promise during the inauguration of a newly constructed rural road linking A2 Junction (Abuja–Lokoja Expressway) to Pai community in Kwali Area Council, Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The event was held as part of activities marking his second year in office.
Describing the road as symbolic, Tinubu reaffirmed his administration’s goal of replicating similar projects throughout the country.
“We will continue until every Nigerian can feel the touch of meaningful governance,” the President said.
“Indeed, this project will continue to elevate our lives if this administration continues to prioritize infrastructure development in all zones.”
He stressed the strategic significance of the newly opened corridor, noting that it would enhance agriculture, commerce, education, mobility, and other sectors crucial to Nigeria’s grassroots-driven economy.
“It is strategic because it opens a new corridor for agriculture, commerce, education, mobility, and other areas, strengthening our national economy from the grassroots up.”
President Tinubu also emphasized the importance of rural communities like Pai in the country’s economic and social structure, particularly in terms of food production and local enterprise.
“Communities like Pai are important to our social and economic fabric. Unfortunately, poor road networks have held them back. But today, that narrative is changing.”
He called on the residents of Pai to take full ownership of the road, ensuring it is preserved and utilized for their collective benefit.
