Afrobeats star Magixx has said that the fear of embarrassment is one of the biggest obstacles preventing people from realising their potential and achieving success.
Speaking during an appearance on Hip TV’s Trending, the Mavin Records artiste explained that many talented individuals fail to maximise their gifts because they are too afraid of making mistakes or being judged by others.
“People say talent is plenty outside. Talent isn’t plenty outside. If talent was plenty, they would have seen the talent,” Magixx said. “A lot of people mismanaged their blessings. If you’re afraid of embarrassment, you will never make it in life.”
He also challenged the common belief that there are more gifted people in obscurity than in the limelight, insisting that those who are successful have earned their positions.
“People always say there is somebody better out there. But there is nobody better out there,” he said. “The reason why that person is in that office is because that person deserves it. That person is the right person for the job. God doesn’t make any mistake.”
Magixx’s comments serve as a motivational reminder to embrace risk and resilience in the journey toward success, especially in competitive industries like entertainment.
