Yinka Theisen has finally broken her silence on the challenges she faced during her brief marriage to Linc Edochie, revealing painful details about her experience with the Edochie family.
In a candid interview with actor and media personality Uche Maduagwu, Yinka alleged that she was treated unfairly by the Edochie family, hinting that her Yoruba background may have contributed to their cold reception.
“I never felt truly accepted. It always seemed like I was treated differently, maybe because I’m Yoruba,” she said.
Addressing the ongoing controversy, Yinka denied accusations that she leaked private phone numbers of some members of the Edochie family, which allegedly led to them receiving a flood of unwanted calls. She described the claims as false and damaging.
Yinka also took aim at actress Rita Edochie, accusing her of playing a double game. She claimed that while Rita publicly expresses support for May Edochie, she is secretly causing problems for her behind the scenes.
“Rita is pretending. She acts like she’s defending May, but she’s actually stirring trouble,” Yinka alleged.
The drama surrounding Yinka reignited after she openly expressed support for Yul Edochie and his second wife, Judy Austin — a move that drew backlash from May Edochie’s supporters, who saw it as a betrayal.
As tensions continue to rise within the Edochie family and their extended circle, Yinka’s revelations have added a fresh layer of complexity to the ongoing public feud.
