More heartbreak has emerged from the devastating news involving Liverpool forward Diogo Jota. André Silva, Jota’s younger brother and a professional footballer for Penafiel in Portugal’s second division, has also died following the fatal car crash.
The tragic update was confirmed by football journalist Fabrizio Romano, who reported that the 25-year-old passed away after the same accident that claimed Jota’s life.
Earlier, CREEBHILLS reported that the 28-year-old Liverpool star was involved in a car accident in the province of Zamora, Spain, while travelling with André. According to the Daily Mail, the vehicle veered off the A-52 road.
Diogo Jota had only recently celebrated winning the Premier League title with Liverpool under new manager Arne Slot, and was on holiday with his family before the incident occurred.
The sudden loss of both brothers has stunned fans and the football community, as tributes continue to pour in from around the world.
