A major transfer breakthrough has been confirmed as Galatasaray and Napoli have reportedly reached full agreement over the €75 million transfer of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen.
According to Turkish football pundit Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, who broke the news via X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday evening, both clubs have finalized bank guarantees and a structured payment plan.
Per the report, Galatasaray will pay €40 million upfront, with the remaining €35 million to be paid in installments, sealing the long-anticipated move for the prolific forward.
“Galatasaray and Napoli have reached an agreement on bank guarantees and payment plans… Galatasaray is very close to signing Victor Osimhen!” Sabuncuoğlu wrote.
The development comes just days after Napoli initially rejected Galatasaray’s proposal for Osimhen, who scored 37 goals across all competitions last season during his loan spell with the Turkish champions.
The deal, if finalized, marks a massive coup for Galatasaray and a significant move in his career trajectory.
