Former Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan was filled with pride as he joined in celebrating his daughter’s graduation from the University of Essex in Colchester, England.
The young scholar bagged a Law degree (LL.B), marking a significant academic milestone that brought together close family members for the ceremony held on Wednesday, July 17, 2025.
According to a report by blogger Stella Dimokokorkus, Jonathan was in attendance alongside Dr Ayima Lott-Jonathan, the mother of the graduate and reportedly his second wife. The couple, who share twin sons born four years ago, were seen beaming with joy as they marked their daughter’s success.
Dr. Ayima, reportedly a longtime partner of the former president, allegedly tied the knot with Jonathan two years ago in a discreet wedding ceremony that remained under the radar until recently.
The graduation celebration added a personal touch to the former president’s public image, showcasing a father proudly supporting his child’s academic journey abroad.
