Tragedy struck on Tuesday night as the office of popular Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo was gutted by fire in Lagos State around 7pm.
The actress took to her Instagram page to share a video of the heartbreaking incident, expressing gratitude that no life was lost in the blaze.
“This just happened today around 7 pm. My office caught fire.
Thanks to the Nigerian Fire Service and my staff for salvaging what was left. Thankfully, no lives were lost. The devil tested us but God said no. With God on my side, we will bounce back bigger and better,” she stated.
The cause of the fire is yet to be officially confirmed, but emergency services were quick to respond, helping to contain the damage and prevent further spread.
The incident comes just two months after the high-profile wedding of her daughter, Priscilla Ojo, to Tanzanian music star Juma Jux, a celebration that captured headlines across the Nigerian entertainment scene.
