Judge Denies Diddy’s $1M Bond Proposal Following Conviction

Judge Denies Diddy’s $1M Bond Proposal Following Conviction

A federal judge has denied Sean “Diddy” Combs’ request for release on a $1 million bond following his recent conviction on charges related to transportation for prostitution.

According to CNN, Judge Arun Subramanian rejected the bond proposal, stating that he had already denied Diddy’s bail before the trial and saw no reason to reverse that decision now.

“At trial, the defense conceded defendant’s violence in personal relationships, saying ‘it happened’ in relation to Cassie Ventura and Jane,” Judge Subramanian remarked.

The judge further cited Diddy’s alleged “violent and illegal conduct” following federal searches of his properties, noting it demonstrated “a disregard for the rule of law and a propensity for violence.”

As previously reported, the 55-year-old music mogul was found not guilty of racketeering and sex trafficking, but guilty on two counts of transporting individuals for prostitution, including former partner Cassie Ventura and a woman identified only as “Jane Doe.”

In the wake of the verdict, Diddy’s legal team submitted a detailed bond proposal. The plan included:

  • A $1 million bond co-signed by his mother Janice Combs, sister, and Sarah Chapman (mother of his daughter, Chance).

  • Travel restrictions limited to California, Florida, New York, and New Jersey.

  • Surrendering of his passport.

  • Random drug testing.

  • Continued presence to care for his children and 85-year-old mother, who reportedly suffers from multiple medical conditions.

Despite these conditions, the judge ruled against the proposal, keeping Diddy in Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York.
