Khloé Kardashian is opening up about the realities of raising children while managing a multi-million dollar brand—and she’s not here for the criticism surrounding hiring nannies.
In the latest episode of her podcast, Khloé In Wonder Land, released on Wednesday, July 23, the 41-year-old reality star and mother of two candidly discussed the support she receives at home and why she believes there should be no shame in having help.
“People that talk s— about nannies, we all have help in some capacity,” Khloé said. “You can call it daycare, you can call it a school, you can call it in-laws, your mother, sister, whoever. A babysitter.”
Khloé Calls Out the “Nanny” Stigma
The Kardashians star emphasized the double standard in how society views nannies versus babysitters or other forms of childcare.
“For some reason, the term ‘babysitter’ people find way less offensive than a ‘nanny.’ I don’t know why,” she said. “We’re all blessed, and it takes a village to raise a family.”
She urged critics to stop shaming parents for getting assistance, explaining that whether it’s a nanny, a grandparent, or daycare, it’s all valid support.
“I do not understand the shame that people give to other people for having people help them with their kids. There is no shame in that,” Khloé declared.
Balancing Fame and Motherhood
With the ongoing success of The Kardashians, business ventures like Good American, and her duties as a mother to True Thompson and Tatum Thompson, Khloé made it clear that having help isn’t a luxury—it’s a necessity.
Her comments have sparked both praise and debate online, with many applauding her honesty and transparency about the realities of modern parenting.
