Marcus Rashford is ready to kick off his Barcelona journey as he has been cleared to feature in the club’s pre-season match against Vissel Kobe this Sunday, according to journalist Javier Miguel.
The 27-year-old forward, who recently completed a loan switch from Manchester United, has already signed his contract with the Catalan side. While Barcelona are yet to make an official announcement, the deal is done — Rashford is now officially a Barça player.
The England international took part in training on Tuesday at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, where he observed morning drills and joined his new teammates for technical discussions. By the afternoon session, Rashford was seen participating in light training exercises organized by head coach Hansi Flick, gradually easing into the squad’s rhythm.
Despite concerns about his match fitness — having not played since April — Rashford’s progress in training has impressed the coaching staff. As a result, he is expected to get a few minutes on the pitch against Vissel Kobe in what could be his unofficial debut in a Barcelona shirt.
The loan move signals a fresh chapter for the forward, who struggled with consistency last season at Manchester United. With Hansi Flick at the helm, Rashford will be hoping to rediscover top form and help the Catalan giants mount a serious challenge across all competitions in the 2025/26 season.
Stay tuned for the official unveiling and more updates on Rashford’s integration into the Barcelona setup.
