Actress Meagan Good has revealed that she’s more than ready to take the next step in her relationship with husband Jonathan Majors—and that includes starting a family.
In a recent interview with Us Weekly, Meagan Good shared that she’s “definitely” excited to have children and feels blessed to be with someone like Majors, who she says is already a phenomenal father.
“My partner is someone I want to really do it with, and get excited about doing it with, and who is a phenomenal father already,” Good said, hinting that they’re aligned on growing their family together.
The actress, who currently stars in the TV series Harlem, said her role on the show helped her come to terms with the idea of motherhood. “It definitely made me excited to go, ‘OK, now that I’ve explored and unpacked so much through my character… I think this actually makes me super ready,’” she added.
When asked about how many kids she’d like, Meagan Good smiled and replied,
“Two would be good.” She also joked that their home already feels secure thanks to their four dogs, saying, “The house is very safe.”
The couple, who quietly tied the knot on March 18 in an intimate backyard ceremony in Los Angeles, appear to be deeply in love.
“I said to Meagan yesterday, ‘Today might be the happiest day of my life.’ I love that woman so much,” Majors shared in a heartfelt statement.
Despite ongoing public scrutiny stemming from Majors’ past legal issues with a former partner, the two continue to stand firmly by each other. Their bond, from all indications, seems to be strengthening with time.
Whether they decide to expand their family soon or take their time, fans are closely watching their journey — and cheering them on.
