“Na Sapa Dey Talk” – Tacha Claps Back at Critic Over Cosmetic Surgery Remark

Reality Star Tacha Claims

Former Big Brother Naija star Tacha Akide has once again sparked conversation online—this time over comments about her alleged body enhancement procedures.

The reality star and influencer recently took to Instagram to share new photos of herself dressed in form-fitting gym wear, flaunting her curvy figure. While the post drew admiration from many fans, one follower’s unsolicited advice sparked controversy.

Instagram user Ogechukwu Darlington commented:

Body reconstruction is addictive. Please know when to tone it down.

Tacha didn’t let it slide. She clapped back in Nigerian Pidgin, replying:

Make money my love!! Na sapa dey talk.

The slang “sapa”—a popular Nigerian term for financial struggle—suggested that the fan’s remark may have stemmed from jealousy or lack of means. Though Tacha neither confirmed nor denied undergoing any cosmetic procedures, her sharp retort quickly reignited conversations about body image and plastic surgery in Nigeria’s celebrity scene.

Fans React

Tacha’s response has received mixed reactions. While many of her followers applauded her confidence and called the comment unnecessary, others argued that the fan was simply giving honest advice.

One Instagram user wrote:

“She doesn’t owe anyone an explanation. If you don’t like what you see, just scroll.”

Another added:

“These surgeries are becoming too common, and it’s okay to be concerned. But there’s a way to say it.”

Cosmetic Surgery and Reality TV Stars

Tacha has long been in the spotlight for her transformation since appearing on BBNaija Season 4 (Pepper Dem) in 2019. Though she has never openly addressed whether she’s had cosmetic surgery, she continues to maintain her image with bold fashion choices and confident online presence.
