Nigeria international Ola Aina has signed a new three-year contract with Nottingham Forest, extending his stay at the Premier League club until June 2028.
The 28-year-old full-back initially joined Forest in July 2023 on a one-year deal after departing Italian side Torino. Aina quickly established himself as a vital part of the team, making 59 appearances, scoring three goals, and providing two assists since his arrival.
During the 2024–25 season, Aina thrived under manager Nuno Espírito Santo, primarily operating on the right flank. He made 37 appearances across all competitions, playing a key role in Forest’s impressive seventh-place finish and their run to the FA Cup semi-finals.
The new contract is a significant vote of confidence in Aina’s consistency, versatility, and leadership at the City Ground.
“It’s a great feeling to commit my future to this club. I’ve enjoyed every moment here and look forward to achieving more with the team,” Aina said in a club statement.
