Singer Reekado Banks has opened up about his uncertainty regarding marrying his fiancée and the mother of his child, just two months after publicly declaring his wedding intentions.
The artist made this revelation during a recent appearance on TVC’s Interview with Esther Oye, where he admitted to a change of heart since his last interview.
“I was pretty sure about my stance at my last interview, but I’m now in a different place,” Reekado Banks said.
“It’s only been two months since the interview. That’s why I said I can’t really say anything about it now. I was sure then, but I’m not sure now. It’s now based on experience. I wouldn’t blame it on music but on myself and my emotional intelligence, which I am still working on.”
His comments come as a surprise to fans, especially after he had openly spoken about wedding plans and had made a public appearance with his partner in December 2024.
The couple welcomed their baby boy in November 2024, and many had believed marriage was the next step. However, Reekado’s candid reflection suggests the singer is reassessing his priorities and emotional readiness for that commitment.
