Roberta Edu, founder of Moppet Foods, has responded to the controversial life coach Solomon Buchi over his recent social media post, urging men to avoid “career-obsessed feminist women.”
In a strongly worded response, Edu cautioned women to avoid lazy men, stating that hardworking men don’t have time to meddle in other people’s lives or dictate how women should live. She accused Buchi of being a “house-husband” who depends on his wife and spends his time “dragging women on social media” instead of working.
“A hardworking man doesn’t have time to be watching other people’s wives or get involved in matters that don’t concern him. He focuses on his work and takes care of his family,” Edu wrote.
Roberta further claimed that Buchi often sends direct messages begging for financial help, and questioned why any woman would choose to marry a man who contributes nothing financially but demands total submission at home.
Referring indirectly to Buchi’s marriage and relocation to the UK, Edu described the situation as one where the wife is overburdened with work and bills, while the husband allegedly contributes little and continues to monitor women online.
“How is Abike expected to thrive in that situation? She’s feeding a man with no job who spends his time dragging women on social media,” she said.
Edu’s remarks have since gone viral, sparking renewed debate about gender roles, modern relationships, and the balance of responsibilities in marriage.
