Yinka Theisen, the estranged partner of Nollywood actor Linc Edochie, has expressed deep shock following Linc’s public rejection of any possibility of reconciling with her.
The emotional drama unfolded on social media after Yinka shared a romantic throwback photo of herself with Linc on Instagram. Captioning the post with poetic language, she wrote:
“True love never dies. The tides turn, and the storm rages. ‘Be still, I say’, and yet the tides grow stronger! Hush!!! Be still!”
However, the tone of nostalgia was quickly met with blunt finality. When a commenter on a blog repost of the photo advised Linc not to take her back, the actor simply replied:
“Never again. End of story.”
Yinka, visibly stunned, responded via her Instagram story:
“Still in shock, numb.”
Fallout and Controversy
This public back-and-forth comes weeks after Yinka’s interview with actor Uche Maduagwu, where she accused Linc’s family and fans of May Edochie, Linc’s sister-in-law, of turning against her. She claimed that part of the rejection stemmed from her Yoruba heritage.
“I was thrown under the bus,” she lamented during the interview.
Their relationship, which went public in May 2025, had initially received warm reactions, including congratulatory messages from prominent figures like Dele Momodu. But the tide shifted in June after Yinka publicly posted May Edochie’s personal phone number on Instagram—an act that sparked intense backlash from fans and netizens, who viewed it as harassment.
In the wake of the controversy, Linc distanced himself from the act, stating on Facebook that he preferred peace and had chosen to walk away.
A Short-Lived Relationship
Shortly after the incident, Yinka confirmed the breakup in a now-deleted post:
“In all things we say thank you Lord! My relationship with Linc is over. No hard feelings at all. I am very sad, but in all things we thank God.”
Despite her emotional appeal on social media, Linc’s latest comment suggests the chapter is firmly closed on their relationship.
