Big Brother Naija “10/10” housemate, Thelma, has shared a deeply emotional experience, revealing that she lost her mother on the same day she gave birth to her son.
In a heartfelt conversation with fellow housemate Otega on Friday afternoon, she recalled the painful moment, saying she had been waiting for her mother at the hospital after delivery, unaware that she had already passed away.
Reflecting on her mother’s final days, Thelma recounted,
“On my mom’s very last birthday, they [she and her friends] had checked into a hotel that has a nice lounge, swimming pool and everything, and they had a really nice time before she passed.”
When Otega asked what her biggest realization was from her mother’s passing, she responded,
“One thing is that she really does take her time to make decisions.”
Thelma noted that she learned valuable life lessons from her mother, which continue to shape her perspective and approach to life.
