Former Big Brother Naija housemate and entrepreneur, Natacha Akide, popularly known as Tacha, has opened up about the struggles she faced following her disqualification from the Pepper Dem season of the reality show.
In an interview on Pulse Hot Takes, she revealed that several celebrities deliberately distanced themselves from her after the show, assuming her career had ended.
“A lot of celebrities didn’t want to associate with me after BBNaija disqualification. People concluded that it was over for me. But I was able to just pick myself back up by going back to what I know, which is making sales online, creating content, and just really trying to be a better version of the Tacha of yesterday,” she shared.
Despite the criticism and isolation, Tacha said she remained resilient, rebuilding her brand and pushing forward.
When asked if she had regrets about her BBNaija journey, she responded:
“Absolutely not. I don’t regret anything. I try to live my life without regrets because at the end of the day there’s always a lesson to be learnt.”
