Dangote Cement Plc has assured full medical care and compensation for Mrs. Ruth Otabor, sister of Big Brother Naija star Phyna, who was recently injured in a road accident involving one of the company’s trucks in Auchi, Edo State.
In a statement released on Thursday, the company announced that senior officials and its insurance team immediately visited the accident scene, collaborated with law enforcement, and met with Mrs. Otabor and her family at Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital.
“Following the accident, we have ensured that Mrs. Otabor receives comprehensive medical attention and appropriate compensation, in line with Dangote Group’s welfare policy,” the statement read.
Dangote Cement expressed deep concern for her well-being and wished her a speedy recovery.
The company reiterated its commitment to the welfare of those affected by incidents involving its operations.
