Serie A: Lookman Refuses to Play for Atalanta Amid Inter Milan Interest

Lookman Finds the Net, but Atalanta Suffer 3-2 Defeat at Home to Como

Atalanta winger Ademola Lookman has reportedly told the Serie A club he will not play for them again, effectively putting himself on strike.

The move comes as Inter Milan prepare a third bid for the Super Eagles forward, after two previous offers were rejected. Reports indicate that the new bid will be closer to Atalanta’s asking price.

Nigerian broadcast journalist Onyebuchi Onokala, also known as Buchi Laba, confirmed on X:

“100% Confirmed: Inter Milan will make another Offer for Ademola Lookman. This 3rd offer will be close to what Atalanta wants. Lookman has made it very clear to Atalanta he won’t play for the club anymore. He wants Inter but Atalanta wants to sell him to clubs outside Italy.”

Sources suggest Atalanta would prefer to transfer him to a club outside Italy, despite the player’s preference for a move to Inter.
