An alleged eyewitness has shared his account of a recent incident aboard an Ibom Air flight, claiming that an air hostess damaged a passenger’s phone during a confrontation.
In an audio clip shared by X user @UnkleAyo, the witness accused the flight attendant of being “power drunk” and manipulative in her handling of the situation.
According to him, the incident began when the air hostess instructed the passenger to switch off her phone. The woman reportedly explained that her device was already in airplane mode and that she was only scrolling through it.
The eyewitness alleged that the attendant became hostile and, at one point, slammed the passenger’s phone.
“That lady did not do up to 10% of what I would have done if I were in her shoes. The truth is that those people posted what they wanted everybody to see. They created a narrative so that people could actually pity them. This lady was not insulting or rude. The whole issue started from the air hostess. That lady is power drunk,” he said.
The airline has yet to release an official statement regarding the allegations.
Another eye witness report from someone also on the Ibom air flight.
The air hostess smashed Comfort’s phone and called her a prostitute.
The same air hostess also shut up a pastor on board who tried to defend Comfort.
