Popular TikTok content creator Jarvis has responded to critics who dragged her partner, Peller, following a viral video of their public altercation that sparked backlash online.
The clip, which circulated widely, showed Peller pushing Jarvis into their car — an act that quickly drew condemnation and claims of abuse. In reaction, Peller issued a statement acknowledging his mistake and expressing regret.
Jarvis has now broken her silence, clarifying that while the push was wrong, it did not amount to abuse. She cautioned critics against spreading false narratives about her relationship.
“Advice your family. I’m not going to hide under the fact that I say I’m a small girl. I’m a small girl but at least I am old enough to take up my responsibilities and know what I want… Now you people are giving this narrative that Pella is beating me. Are you people okay? If a man beats me, I would have left. My life first, my mental health, my sanity first,” she said.
According to Jarvis, both she and Peller are still “a work in progress,” stressing that she believes he will improve with time.
“That pushing was not it actually. He’s a no-no, but I believe that he will change. Because me too, if it was before, as he pushed me, I swear I would raise my hand back. But me too, I’m still trying to control myself and act like a lady,” she explained.
Jarvis also dismissed speculations that she is with Peller for fame or money, insisting her choice is based on love.
“I decide what I want. I know what I want and I go for it. I’m in a relationship because I want to. I’m in a relationship with him because I love him. Not because of fame or money. He’s just coming up. We are both coming up. Which fame? What money?” she added.
