Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has publicly called out the organizers of the Headies Awards over the car prize attached to his Next Rated win at the 2025 edition of the show.
The rapper, whose real name is Tochukwu Ojogwu, took to Twitter on Friday to remind the award body that he has yet to receive the prize traditionally tied to the category.
“I don forget say I win car, headies wey my car?” he wrote. In a follow-up post, he added, “Na true oo, Headies,” tagging the award’s official handle.
Odumodublvck clinched the coveted Next Rated category at the 2025 Headies, a recognition that typically comes with a brand-new car. His remarks have sparked conversations online, with many fans supporting his demand, while others questioned why the award organizers have delayed fulfilling the promise.
As of the time of filing this report, the Headies organizers are yet to release an official statement addressing the rapper’s claim.
