Paris Jackson and her fiancé, music producer Justin Long, have ended their engagement.
The singer-songwriter confirmed the split in a post shared on X on Thursday, referencing recent emotional photos published by the Daily Mail and revealing she had been crying “breakup tears.”
Jackson, who has been touring this summer with US rock band Incubus, had announced her engagement to Long in December. At the time, she expressed deep affection for him, writing in a now-deleted Instagram post,
“Doing life with you these last years has been an indescribable whirlwind. Thank you for letting me be yours. I love you.”
She also described him as someone she “couldn’t dream of anyone more perfect” for her.
In June, Paris Jackson told Access Hollywood that she was actively planning the wedding.
“The dress is being made, the venue has been picked and the date has been picked by an astrologer, because I’m from LA,” she said. “I’m all about the crystals and the astrologer, and all that stuff.”
That same month, the couple appeared together on the red carpet at the Tribeca Festival premiere of Jackson’s film One Spoon of Chocolate.
Paris Jackson is the daughter of the late pop legend Michael Jackson and his former wife, Debbie Rowe.
