Hollywood actress and comedian Tiffany Haddish has addressed rumors suggesting she secretly welcomed a baby with Hollywood Unlocked host Jason Lee.
The speculation began after a viral photo showed the pair holding a baby, with Jason captioning it: “Cats out the bag.” Fans quickly ran with the joke, fueling speculation online.
During her guest-hosting appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Tuesday, Tiffany shut down the rumors.
“Even my own relatives were asking if I had a secret baby — which is kind of insulting because they all live in my house,” she joked.
Jason, who was seated in the audience, played along, saying: “The whole world has lost their mind over this beautiful baby.” Tiffany then declared the child their “godbaby,” adding humorously: “You the daddy.”
She also teased Jason with: “The offer is still on the table if you wanna make a real baby together,” to which he reminded her: “I’m still gay.”
Clarifying the situation, Tiffany said: “So just to be clear, I did not have a baby. But I am open to it, wide open to it. I even have a list of potential baby daddies.” She went on to name stars like Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, and Yankees’ Giancarlo Stanton, asking Jason to rate her choices.
While Haddish laughed off the speculation, she has previously spoken about her struggles with endometriosis and multiple miscarriages, which she once described as “painful as a motherf**er.”*
For now, Tiffany insists there’s no baby — but she hasn’t ruled out motherhood in the future.
