South African music sensation Tyla continues to make waves as she lands a major honor from Variety.
The Grammy-winning artist has been named one of Variety’s Power of Young Hollywood honorees for 2025, joining an elite group of rising stars celebrated for reshaping the entertainment industry.
Tyla’s global breakthrough came with her 2023 smash hit “Water,” which earned her a GRAMMY Award, double platinum certification, and a place in history as the highest-charting solo track by an African female artist on the Billboard Hot 100.
Now gracing the cover of Variety’s Power of Young Hollywood issue, Tyla is being recognized for her influence and impact in music and pop culture.
