Media personality Do2dtun has publicly urged singer Paul “Rudeboy” Okoye to take the fight to court after an X user, @chubbiedivah, made damaging allegations about the artist — claims Rudeboy says are false and for which he’s vowed legal action.
The row began when X user @chubbiedivah posted accusations alleging that Rudeboy committed sexual assault against a house-help and that he forced his wife and sister-in-law out of his home. The posts quickly drew attention across social platforms. (Note: the allegations remain unproven.)
Reacting to the viral claims, influential on-air personality Do2dtun warned that @chubbiedivah must be held accountable or face consequences. Addressing Rudeboy directly, he wrote:
“Listen @rudeboypsquare, if you leave that girl @chubbiedivah, we go fight. I am looking for a scapegoat too & I mean it. The damage is unbelievable. It’s hard to defend things you know are not true about your personal life, especially when some dimwits say it with such audacity with no proof.”
Following Do2dtun’s intervention, Rudeboy replied with an emphatic threat of legal action, telling the poster to “go private” and promising to use “every necessary means, power, resource, and money” to bring her to justice. In his post he added he would “use you as an example.”
The incident highlights how quickly explosive allegations can spread on social media and the reputational damage that can follow — sparking calls from public figures for legal accountability and encouraging victims of false claims to seek recourse.
What to expect next
Rudeboy’s public vow suggests formal legal steps may follow; typical next moves could include an initial legal demand letter, a defamation suit, or reporting the posts to platform moderators. If Rudeboy proceeds, the matter may move from social feeds to the courts, where claims will be tested and evidence examined.
