Tensions boiled over in the Big Brother Naija Season 10 house on Thursday night after a heated argument between housemates Zita and Rooboy spiralled into a shocking physical confrontation.
The drama unfolded during Team Pineapple’s task session, where Zita accused Rooboy of sabotaging her group’s performance. She blasted him for “blowing things out of proportion” and lacking basic conflict management skills.
Rooboy, however, defended himself, insisting he had already apologised to the team. He even turned to fellow housemates Sultana and Mensan for support. But Zita wasn’t convinced, insisting he had never apologised to her directly. Kola tried to diffuse the situation, suggesting Rooboy’s apology was more general than personal, but his comment only added fuel to the fire.
The exchange quickly escalated into insults. Rooboy branded Zita “stupid,” to which she snapped back, calling him a “dumb ass man.” Things took a turn when Rooboy taunted her with, “If I piss you off, what are you going to do?” In a flash, Zita threw a plate of Indomie at him. Rooboy retaliated by striking her.
The confrontation left housemates stunned. Isabella immediately scolded Zita for provoking Rooboy with the food attack, while others looked on in shock at the sudden escalation.
With Big Brother Naija enforcing a strict zero-tolerance policy for violence, both housemates now risk disciplinary action — ranging from strikes to possible disqualification. Fans are already debating online whether Zita’s provocation or Rooboy’s retaliation crossed the bigger line.
