The ongoing feud between May Yul-Edochie and her former lawyer, Emeka Ugwuonye, has taken a fresh turn as the legal practitioner publicly branded her a “terrible liar” and “fake person.”
This comes just days after May filed a lawsuit against Ugwuonye, accusing him of cyberbullying, defamation, and cyberstalking through malicious posts.
Ugwuonye Shares Alleged Private Chats
In a Facebook post on Friday, Ugwuonye released screenshots of private conversations he allegedly had with May during her divorce proceedings.
According to him, he went out of his way to offer her “premium treatment,” guiding her through court processes and ensuring she received first-class legal support — only to be “betrayed” in the end.
“If you see the chats between us, you will understand how fake May is and what a terrible liar she is. All those who believe her are just pitiable,” he wrote.
Ugwuonye further accused May of being dishonest and manipulative, warning her to pray he does not release more evidence that could “damage her reputation further.”
Cease-and-Desist Notice From May
The development follows a cease-and-desist notice issued to Ugwuonye by May’s legal representatives, Graylaw Partners, accusing him of deliberately using social media to bully and discredit her.
The drama adds yet another chapter to May’s highly publicized legal and personal battles, which continue to attract massive public attention.
