FC Barcelona has officially announced a major sponsorship agreement with Chinese home appliance powerhouse Midea, which will become the club’s Main Partner and Official Home Appliances Partner starting from the 2026/27 season.
The deal, which will run for five seasons until 2030/31, will see Midea’s logo take over the sleeve sponsorship on Barcelona’s first-team shirt and training kits, currently occupied by Ambilight (Philips brand).
According to reports, the Catalan giants are set to earn around €12 million per year from the partnership, providing a significant boost to the club’s commercial revenues.
Midea, widely recognized for its household products and air conditioning systems, is no stranger to the football world.
The brand already enjoys a strong presence as a sponsor of Manchester City, having collaborated on stadium LED installations and several fan-focused digital campaigns.
Barcelona vice-president Rafa Yuste expressed delight at the deal, stating:
“It will be an honour for FC Barcelona to incorporate Midea, starting from the 2026/27 season, into the great Barça family. Its leadership in smart home solutions and its vocation for research and innovation align perfectly with the character of an FC Barcelona that projects itself into the future.”
The partnership reflects Barcelona’s continued efforts to expand global reach and reinforce their financial stability, as the club looks to balance sporting success with long-term commercial growth.
