Hip-hop legend Snoop Dogg is set to bring his charisma and humor back to the Olympic stage as a special correspondent for the 2026 Winter Games in Milan-Cortina, Italy.
The rapper, who became a fan favorite during the 2024 Paris Olympics will once again team up with NBCUniversal to provide his unique take on the global sporting event.
This time, Snoop Dogg will dive into Italian culture and explore landmarks across northern Italy, from Milan to the Dolomite mountain range. He’ll also attend competitions, interact with athletes and their families, and share his signature commentary in the recurring segment, “Snoop’s Greatest Hits”, alongside NBC host Mike Tirico.
“I am excited to be back with my main man Mike Tirico for the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan Cortina,” Snoop said. “The D-O-double-G will be on the scene… I’m all about sports, bringing people together, and unifying while bringing the fun. I’ll be bringing my puffy jackets, snow pants, goggles, skates (and will definitely be iced out).”
NBC Olympics executive producer Molly Solomon hailed his return, calling him the network’s “Ambassador of Happiness.” She added: “We can’t wait to see how the kid from Long Beach handles the snow and ice of Italy at his first-ever Winter Olympics.”
In Paris, Snoop Dogg memorably helped carry the Olympic torch hung out with Simone Biles and Team USA athletes, and even enjoyed equestrian events with his longtime friend Martha Stewart.
The 2026 Winter Olympics will run from February 6, with events hosted across Milan, Cortina d’Ampezzo, and other venues in northern Italy.
