Big Brother Naija Season 10 took a dramatic turn on Monday as Zita claimed the Head of House (HOH) title, dethroning Koyin less than 24 hours after he secured the crown in Week Eight.
The intense HOH challenge featured the same finalists from Sunday — Faith, Thelma Lawson, Bright Morgan, Zita, and Kola.
After a tough contest, Zita outlasted her rivals, snatching the leadership from Koyin and marking her second time unseating an interim HOH this season. She had previously dethroned Doris in Week Four.
For her reign, Zita picked Kola as her guest in the exclusive HOH lounge. During her earlier tenure in Week Four, she had chosen Rooboy as her guest, highlighting her evolving but calculated game strategy.
Koyin’s short-lived reign came after he beat Faith, Bright Morgan, Kola, Thelma Lawson, and Zita in a two-part challenge on Sunday. He had selected Jason Jae as his lounge partner but was quickly toppled by Zita’s comeback.
Earlier in the day, Koyin read this week’s brief to the house, unveiling the theme “Flying Solo.” The housemates are expected to focus on self-discovery while pairing up to prepare cultural presentations on selected Nigerian states. Their performance will determine the outcome of this week’s wager and, ultimately, their food supply for the coming week.
Meanwhile, Faith was named the Most Influential Player (MIP), earning him automatic immunity from eviction for the week.
